This Week Keep In Mind…

Update on the Curate ~ Leopard Shoes

Magazines, blogs, television shows, just about everything, tell you to splurge on great quality items. I can’t say that I disagree. Sometimes it does pay to spend more on an authentic silk blouse that will last much longer, than $5 on something that will probably be eaten by the dryer in a month. But it is always better when you can get the best of both worlds, quality and quantity (or lack there of).

On a recent trip to TJ Maxx I was able to find both. I found a pair of haircalf leopard (come to think of it, they are more like some fancy two toned brown zebra lol) print flats from Talbots. At first I wasn’t so sure I wanted them. Although this animal print is very versatile (its a neutral that can go with anything), I could’ve done without them. But, after careful investigation of the leather and haircalf upper, I was persuaded by the quality and I decided to get it. The best part: it was under $30.

It’s no Charlotte Olympia but it’s a great addition to my new wardrobe. It’s a work, play, church, night-on-the-town, and casual shoe all in one.
